Mixed bag

Pretty clever of me, don’t you think? We’ve moved on from the issue of insanity to a thought experiment—our first?—where I contrive to tell you more about me as a person. By having you imagine yourself as me, I sidle past your watchful dragons. But hey, that’s not the only reason. It isn’t even the main one. Being able to imagine oneself as someone else is crucial to this narrative.

We cruise on by means of a nifty automotive metaphor in
Boxes in the attic. We visit another book that has just fortuitously arrived on my door step. Yes, it’s lightweight, but it does the job of setting up the next talking point: authenticity. Again, I add a little more to what the reader needs to know about me. Not my habit of bare feet, but the manner in which I use my brain. The term that I’ve adopted comes from Heinlein’s Stranger in a Strange Land. Grokking is a concept that grows in importance as Will? I Am! proceeds.
